I think the cartoonish image and the word "giveaway", among other aspects in this video, would lead end-users to reinforce in their own heads the negative images of our industry (trinkets and trash, not a serious/viable marketing vehicle, etc.) which many of us are trying to avoid. Why not emphasize what we promotional marketing professionals do--achieve marketing objectives, establish positive ROI, ROO, CPI, consultative solution selling vs. stuff selling, etc.

None of my clients advertise on TV, so this isn't useful for me. I'm thinking the whole promoman thing may be a bit cheesy too.

I don't think this portrays our industry in a professional way. Our company is trying to move away from the whole free stuff, chachka thing and are positioning our business as more of an ad agency, providing marketing solutions for our clients
