I think an elevsator pitch should only be about 15 seconds, if an interest is generated you can leave the elevator together and finish with a 1 minute pitch while swaping information....Example:

We are a dominanting website company We offer to build you a FREE Website for your company to try before you buy. That way you have no money at risk while getting a realistic view if a website is good for your company The main thing is we can have a site up and running in 2-3 days, would that interest you?

that was 16 seconds, then I leave with them and finish with swaping business cards. My card has a web address where they go to fill out a simler form.
