"Social Responsibility" is a nice buzz word and may be considered hip these days, but the bottom line is that even in the slower economy many of us are facing these days, we will benefit from thinking outside our own needs and doing what we can to help others. From this perspective, the FreePromoTips CARES! section of the site was born.
The goal of the FreePromoTips CARES! page is simply to raise awareness for the idea that we can all do something positive to help others if we choose to. This revelation came as we learned more about Help the Children, an international organization that does many great things. Below we are listing just a few groups that we are personally know personally that do great work.
Of course there are all kinds of organizations that do good things, so our encouragement is to support whatever tugs at your heart. In the comment section below, we invite you to share your stories about your involvement with charity organizations. What have you done that has been rewarding? Is there a non-profit organization you would like to mention? What benefits have you seen from giving back? This is your opportunity to motivate people to help others! This should go without saying, but we encourage you to check out any organization before supporting it.
In challenging economic times, these groups are struggling for donations, but it's not all about financial contributions. You can also contribute time. Get involved on a local level with charities in your community. Your help will be appreciated and you'll meet some great people. Who knows, it could also lead to some beneficial business connections. The PromoTip here is that being a leader in life and in business, is really about serving. Get involved. The rewards are great!
